About GKS

Barry Greenzweig, owner of GKS, began his racing career in 1972, running at local tracks in eastern Pennsylvania. His passion for winning grew, as did his following, and in 1978, the shop officially opened. Barry not only won many races and championships in the WKA Manufacturers Cup and Gold Cup series and the IKF series, but also helped many drivers win their first local, regional, or national event/championship over the 50+ years of racing. Barry was also a long-time Team Driver for Coyote Karts from 1978 to the mid-2000s and is the 1st and longest-running dealer with Coyote Motorsports to date. Today, Barry is joined by his son, Alex Greenzweig, who heads the GKS Briggs 206 Engine Program alongside Barry. Additionally, Alex has won numerous track championships at Oreville Kart Club, 5 Microstocks Racing Series Championships, and collected numerous asphalt and dirt wins! Team GKS regularly competes at Oreville Kart Club and in select Cup Karts of North America Regional and National Events.
